And there were surely many more - so that is a prod to let us know, as the details get evermore hazy as the years do pass...

“It’s Billy Idol meets Iggy Pop, with a slice of Suicide’s Alan Vega for good measure…”

Ray Mayhew is perhaps best known in music history as being the "mad" drummer for pop-cyberpunk band Sigue Sigue Sputnik from 1983 to 1990.
When Sigue Sigue Sputnik disbanded in 1990 Ray formed his own group “Mayhem Deranged” vacating the drum stool to concentrate on being a singer and songwriter.

The story is an old one – 3 albums worth of demo’s amassed over the years, an ever changing line up and landscape, but no sign of that all elusive record deal.
It is all way too familiar...and boring too.

So finally in 2008 the band record their debut single, initially appearing only on the 272 Records Compilation – Riot on Sunset Vol 18 but finally being released as a single in its own right on iTunes in late 2010. The band play live in this period with The Diodes guitarist John Catto and The Modern drummer Bob Malkowski.

The bands new single “50 Megaton Love” is due for release in early 2013 and features contributions from Craig Adams (The Mission, Sisters Of Mercy) and James Stevenson (Gen X, The Alarm, Chelsea, Gene Loves, Jezebel) with the B side “Never Gonna Fall” featuring Chris Kavanagh (Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Big Audio Dynamite II)
